I don't think any 16 year old should get such a high horsepower car right off the bat anyway. Sure Im envy you getting such a nice car at the beginning of your driving career, but you cannot fully expect to understand the total physics and psychology of driving without years of experience. Understandably, there are some (16 year olds) more mature than others..but insurance statistics exist for a reason, and you just added to it. I think parents to should take more responcibility and put more thought into the purchasing of a car for a young person. I for one would not let my kid have a car like that, it must be earned first. Just a rant.
